Sobriety Counter
Count your sober days live. Enter the date of your last drink and watch the days, hours, minutes and seconds climb, second by second.
Every second is a choice. You’re choosing right.
Not your date? Set the day of your last drink below and this counts from it.
0 days sober.
Sixty and a hundred days have marks but no names: on this scale they sit within a hair of ninety, and three labels stacked on each other measure nothing.
Next Milestone
The last drink is often still being absorbed, so blood alcohol can still be rising. Elimination then runs at a broadly fixed rate of about 0.015 g/100 mL an hour, and nothing speeds it up.
Your Body Right Now
Nothing on the ladder has passed yet. The first window is twenty minutes after the last drink, and it is where the clock starts rather than a finding of its own.

What date did I get sober, and when is the next milestone?
Forwards, this is a sobriety clock: the date goes in and the days climb from it, second by second. Backwards it is a sober date calculator — the day of your last drink is the whole input, and every milestone is that day plus a number of days. A sobriety date calculator is the same sum again. There is only one piece of arithmetic here, and the table prints both ends of it.
Counting from 26 August 2026, you are 0 days in.
| Milestone | Days sober | Date it lands on |
|---|---|---|
| Day One | 1 | 27 August 2026 |
| 1 Week | 7 | 2 September 2026 |
| 30 Days | 30 | 25 September 2026 |
| 60 Days | 60 | 25 October 2026 |
| 90 Days | 90 | 24 November 2026 |
| 100 Days | 100 | 4 December 2026 |
| 180 Days | 180 | 22 February 2027 |
| 1 Year | 365 | 26 August 2027 |
| 500 Days | 500 | 8 January 2028 |
| 1,000 Days | 1,000 | 22 May 2029 |
Dates are whole days counted from your sobriety date, so a leap day and a change of clocks both take care of themselves. Day One is the day after your last drink, which is why the first rung is not the date you entered.
